Consulting · Vendor advisory
Independent AI vendor advice. No conflicts. No commissions.
Arcloops has no commercial relationships with any AI vendor. We receive no referral fees, no implementation commissions, and no incentives to recommend any particular product. Our only commercial interest is that our advice turns out to be correct.
Every vendor says they are the best fit
Every AI vendor in Bangladesh will tell you their product is the best fit for your needs. That is their job. Your job is to evaluate them objectively — but most organisations do not have the technical depth or the market knowledge to do that, especially when demos are designed to impress rather than prove fit against your data and workflows.
Procurement teams end up comparing slide decks. IT teams get locked into tools that cannot integrate. Business sponsors discover total cost of ownership only after the contract is signed. Independence matters because the wrong shortlist wastes a year and creates exit risk that is expensive to unwind.
Independent selection advisory defines what you actually need, scans the market beyond whoever has a Dhaka sales team, evaluates on structured criteria, and — when needed — runs a PoC that eliminates demo theatre.
What the engagement includes
01
Requirements definition
We work with your team to articulate what you actually need from an AI system — not what vendors are selling, but what your specific use case requires. This document becomes the basis for every evaluation.
Deliverable: Requirements specification
1–2 weeks
02
Market scan
We identify vendors and products globally and regionally that could address your requirements — including products that do not have a Bangladesh sales team, which are often the best fit.
Deliverable: Longlist and market scan brief
1–2 weeks
03
Structured evaluation
We evaluate shortlisted vendors against your requirements across capability fit, total cost of ownership, implementation complexity, vendor stability, data security and compliance, support quality, and exit risk.
Deliverable: Scored evaluation matrix
2–3 weeks
04
Proof of concept coordination
Where necessary, we design and coordinate a structured proof of concept with shortlisted vendors using your actual data and use case — so decisions are based on evidence, not demo theatre.
Deliverable: PoC design and results summary
2–4 weeks (when required)
05
Recommendation and decision support
We produce a vendor selection report with a clear recommendation, the reasoning behind it, and the risks of each alternative. We present to leadership and support the internal decision process.
Deliverable: Vendor selection report and leadership presentation
1 week
Who it's for
- Enterprises evaluating multiple AI vendors without an independent technical advisor — and tired of comparing slide decks.
- Procurement and IT leaders who need structured criteria before an RFP or shortlist closes.
- Organisations burned by a previous tool purchase that failed to integrate or scale.
- Teams that want build-versus-buy clarity before committing to a platform licence.
Vendor selection FAQ
No. We have no referral fees or implementation commissions tied to vendor sales. Independence is the product — if that ever changed, we would disclose it before an engagement.
Yes. Requirements work often concludes that a custom build, a product like Approvals or MerchantPro, or a managed platform is the better path. We say so when the evidence points that way.
No. PoCs are used when demos cannot prove fit on your data or workflows. Some selections are clear from structured evaluation alone; we do not invent PoC theatre for billable weeks.
No. Market scans include regional and global products that fit requirements — including vendors without a local sales team when they are the better fit and support model works for you.
You own the decision. We can support procurement advisory and contracting if you want a clean handoff into buying — that is a separate scope, not a forced upsell.
