An AI strategy built from evidence, not enthusiasm.
A genuine AI strategy starts with a rigorous assessment of where the organisation is, identifies the use cases that will matter in the next twelve months, and produces a roadmap your internal team can execute — not one that requires permanent consulting engagement to implement.
The problem with most AI strategies
Most AI strategies produced for Bangladesh enterprises fall into one of two failure modes. The first is the vendor deck — built around a specific product, dressed as strategy, with every recommendation quietly pointing back to the same licence. The second is the consulting report — dozens of pages of framework language with no clear owner, no sequenced use cases, and no path a working team can actually follow.
Neither survives contact with reality. Boards get a document. Operators get no next step. Pilots stall because nobody agreed who owns execution, what skills are missing, or how success will be measured. Build-versus-buy decisions get made on demo theatre. Data strategy is deferred until after the tool is chosen — which is backwards. Governance is treated as an appendix instead of a constraint that shapes what you can ship.
A genuine AI strategy for a Bangladesh enterprise starts from evidence: readiness across data, processes, and people; a short list of use cases with honest business cases (not vendor-supplied projections); clear build-versus-buy and vendor posture; and a roadmap the organisation can run without forever depending on outside advisors.
What the engagement includes
01
Baseline assessment
A structured review of your organisation's AI readiness across data, processes, team capability, and current AI footprint. This is a prerequisite — we never develop strategy without understanding the starting point.
Deliverable: AI Readiness Report
2–3 weeks
02
Opportunity identification
We map your core business processes against AI capability — identifying where AI can reduce cost, improve speed, or improve decision quality. We build a business case for each opportunity: investment required, expected impact, risk level, and timeline. The highest-value cases are rarely the most obvious ones.
Deliverable: AI Opportunity Map with prioritised use case business cases
1–2 weeks
03
Strategy development
We select the 3–5 highest-priority use cases, design the implementation approach for each (including build-versus-buy and data prerequisites), and sequence them into a phased roadmap. We address the questions most strategies ignore: who owns execution, what skills are needed, how success is measured, and what happens if it does not work.
Deliverable: AI Strategy Document + Implementation Roadmap
2–3 weeks
04
Presentation and alignment
We present the strategy to your leadership team, answer challenge questions, and support internal alignment. The strategy is yours — we build it to survive without us.
Deliverable: Board-ready AI Strategy Presentation
1 week
05
Engagement model
Strategy work is usually project-based: defined scope, fixed timeline, and clear deliverables over 4–12 weeks depending on complexity — you know the cost before we start. Organisations that need ongoing senior AI judgment can continue on an advisory retainer (typically 2–4 days per month, three-month minimum) as fractional Chief AI Officer support for vendor reviews, decision gates, and programme oversight. We recommend the lighter model that fits — not the larger one.
Deliverable: Engagement recommendation (project vs retainer) and scope outline
Aligned to project close or retainer kickoff
Who it's for
- Leadership teams aligned on pursuing AI but not yet agreed on what to pursue — we facilitate that alignment into an executable strategy.
- Organisations where a previous AI initiative failed or stalled — we diagnose what went wrong and build the strategy that avoids repeating it.
- Boards that require an AI strategy when the internal team cannot develop one objectively — independent, evidenced, and boardroom-ready.
- Enterprises about to make a significant AI investment who want independent validation before committing to a major system or platform.
Strategy FAQ
Yes for most organisations. Strategy without a baseline becomes a wish list. We either run the assessment as the first phase or use an equivalent evidence base you already have — we do not invent a roadmap from workshops alone.
That is the point. Boards get prioritised use cases, investment posture, and risk framing. Operators get sequenced next steps, owners, and build-versus-buy guidance — not a 60-page framework with no owners.
Only when evidence supports it — and never because we earn a commission. We have no preferred-vendor relationships. Strategy often stops at selection criteria and shortlist guidance; vendor selection and procurement are separate services when you need them.
Typically several weeks once baseline evidence is in place — longer if readiness must be built first. Exact duration depends on organisational size and how many departments are in scope. We quote a fixed timeline before we start.
You do. The deliverable is designed so your internal team can execute without a permanent consulting retainer. We can stay for enablement or build if you want — but the strategy itself is yours.
